Analyse a Typeface

The typeface I'm going to be analyzing is Helvetica. it has been used in independent firms to big corporate firms to everything in the middle, its been used all over the world today. We see it everywhere in todays society from the typeface on a logo, to a website to a cup of coffee. There have been many variations of Helvetica such as Helvetica light, Helvetica compressed and Neue Helvetica. it is an interesting font to look at because it can be used in many variations , most airline companies use this typeface because it is legible when in motion, and the new York city subway signs and maps were changed to Helvetica in the 70s.

Analysis of an image

This is a photograph I chose for my brand attribute multiple Personality. In this photo I feel that it describes multiple personality in the way that the photograph is in a blurred fashion, meaning that there is more than one personality in the photograph. The composition of the photograph you see the person is in the middle of the photograph. The stature of the person seems very still with he's arms down by his side, he looks relaxed there’s no tension, however with he's head shows tension and abnormality, meaning there is two personalities trying to get out. I like the different tones of blue showing different personalities with the lighter blue on the left side on one of the faces, whereas with the other face is a really dark shade of blue. I feel that this photograph is showing good and evil. Eric Burdon said, "Inside each of us, there is the seed of both good and evil. It's a constant struggle as to which one will win. And one cannot exist without the other." I agree with this statement because I feel that there is good and evil in everyone, doesn't matter if you do or don't believe in heaven or hell, everybody has evil in them and they are always contemplating subconsciously which road to take in this matter, majority of the time it would be the good which would be the best option, however other times you will take the evil side and that’s when havoc will arise. in the photograph the good side is representing the lighter shade of blue whereas  the dark shade of blue is representing the evil side of you.

What is your philosophical world view?
Christianity is a part of our world of all different views. the first element is God exists? If God exists he is eternal, meaning he doesn't change. If God did create the universe then there will be a part of god is in every living organism he created. God is like a painter, as a painter he leaves part of himself in the painting; I believe this statement to be true. The first ontological argument was put forward by Anselm of Canterbury saying "that than nothing which can be greater can be conceived", and then argued "god must exist in the mind; even in the mind of a fool who doesn't believe in the existence of God." From what Anselm is saying I think he's saying that god exists in everyone and everyone is in existence and reality which makes god in reality as well. The philosopher Anaxagoras believed that there should be a good reason to believe something if not you shouldn't. However I feel that Anaxagoras couldn't explain why the things is the way they are and couldn’t succumb to say it was an act of God. Furthermore, if we are created by god. That means we are not a creation from evolution, meaning that we have a meaning and purpose in life and not randomly developed from evolution which most atheists would believe. I personally feel Christianity in worldview is an ethos of lives in the world of today, how we choose to live by that code is in the individual.
